“The Danswer” is a man born to dance; and he’s finally trying to explain himself. His story moves backwards in time, tracing the origins of his choreography, virility, and masculinity.
No one could explain dance, until now. If you've ever wondered what goes on inside the mind of a man in motion, wonder no more. At times horny and at times confused, this show promises honesty that's so uncompromising you won't be able to watch it.
This alter ego was an opportunity for me to explore my inheritance (which is modern dance) and include the exasperated and peppy and macho parts of my personality.
I premiered the live show at The Elysian as part of a triptych of my alter egos. No one has asked me to do this since.
